As Maya Angelou said, “I’ve learned that you shouldn’t go through life with a catcher’s mitt on both hands; you need to be able to throw something back.”

How are you contributing to others? Some people think they have to accumulate a lot of money in order to give back. They first strive for success, and then focus on creating a life of significance. However, you don’t have to wait to do something great. True fulfillment often comes through serving. We are all on the same team so, wherever you are on the field, throw something back. Start where you are. Philanthropy is an active effort to promote human welfare–whether it is providing funds to a worthy humanitarian cause or delivering services to better an individual or group. You probably have more to offer than you realize so get in the giving game. You can share your time, knowledge, talents, encouragement, or even small acts of kindness. It taps into the principle of cause and effect which forms one of the fundamental laws of the Universe. The more you give unconditionally, the more you receive freely.

Until next time, remember-it’s your divine life, live it to the fullest. The power is in your hands!

With Purpose & Power,

Terri
