Transformation takes time. This speaks to the importance of Power Living Principle #4: Be a Humble Warrior. One way to sustain your energy along the way is to cultivate your inner strength muscles – joy, faith, love.
As you go through the Reality Check on page 46 of the book, ask yourself: Do I experience at least one instance of pure joy every day? Then, ask: What will be my moment of joy today? Remember – it is your choice. Get in the habit of actively seeking joy every day versus delaying it for the future.
As Chogyam Trungpa said:
To be a warrior is to learn to be genuine in every moment of your life. Success and failure are your journey.
