July 20, 2016–Early on Wednesday morning a group of New York’s change agents and elite came out to see 97-year-old yoga master Tao Porchon-Lynch at the prestigious CORE: Club on East 55th Street in partnership with the Women’s Entrepreneurship Day (WED) organization led by Wendy Diamond. In addition to the regular breakfast series Wendy hosts, we thought that a short yoga class with Tao would be a treat to give people a taste of her teachings. Afterwards, I was delighted to moderate the conversation alongside Wendy.
On Saturday, November 14th, 2015, I attended the 125th Anniversary event for the New York Wellesley Club (NYWC). The NYWC’s first meeting took place on December 13, 1890, just eleven years after Wellesley College graduated its first class of eighteen women. Today, the Club serves 2,700 alumnae in the city’s five boroughs. NYC’s First Lady, Charlene McCray ’76 kicked off the day with NYWC President Brooke Bryant ’03.

THE BUZZ: I participated in two wonderful Womensphere events recently. I spoke at the 7th Womensphere Summit 2014, closing the event out in true Power Living fashion. The theme this year was “Creating the Future: Accelerating Advancement.” There were a slew of dynamic women in addition to a few good men.
THE BUZZ: On Saturday, December 15th, 2012, I spoke at the Jack & Jill Northern Cluster Conference at the beautiful Dolce Conference Center in Norwalk, CT. It was a delightful event to honor their mother members. I spoke about Power Living – outlining the five principles focused on managing yourself spiritually, mentally, physically, emotionally, and what we call, environmentally. It was a very receptive and energetic crowd.
