On Monday, April 27, 2015, the JCC Mid-Westchester in Scarsdale, New York hosted “An Evening with Tao Porchon-Lynch.” It was a conversation with 96-year-old yoga master Tao Porchon-Lynch about her incredible life and inspirational philosophy moderated by Teresa Kay-Aba Kennedy.

That was the setting for our writing retreat for 96-year-old Tao Porchon-Lynch’s upcoming inspirational memoir, Dancing Light: The Spiritual Side of Being Through the Eyes of a Modern Yoga Master. THE BUZZ: On Tuesday, March 3, 2015, I had the honor of speaking on a panel for the 2015 American Heart Association Go Red Luncheon held at the New York Hilton Midtown. The educational breakout was entitled, “Finding Your Passion to Find Heart Health.” I shared the stage with a group of dynamic women including Agapi Stassinopoulos (bestselling author and speaker), Icilma V. Fergus, MD, FACC (Director of Cardiovascular Disparities at Mount Sinai Medical Center), MaryAnn Browning (Founder & President of Browning’s Fitness) and our moderator Dr. Suzanne Steinbaum (Director of Women’s Heart Health of Lenox Hill Hospital).
