As Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo said: “Talent without working hard is nothing.”

How committed are you to excellence? Cristiano Ronaldo is talented but what has made him stand out is his work ethic. From the beginning, he has had a deep desire to win and an obsession with honing his skills. One coach said he was “the greatest trainer” he ever worked with–arriving early to prepare and leaving after the other players to do extra drills. He is known to have a strong belief in himself and still be open to advice. The result: he is the highest paid athlete and FIFA’s best soccer player in the world. So, put in the work. Whatever you desire to do, go all in. There may be others who have more “raw goods” or a larger platform, but discipline, dedication and your innate creativity will set you apart. Be fully devoted to your craft. Commit to the “10,000 hours” of deliberate practice to be an expert. Prime your mind, body and spirit like a top athlete seeking peak performance. If you set the intention to be better every day and be consistent in your efforts, you will exceed your goals and be rewarded manifold.

Until next time, remember-it’s your divine life, live it to the fullest. The power is in your hands!

With Purpose & Power,

Terri
