As Dr. Seuss said: “Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment, until it becomes a memory.”

How present are you? Life is often most appreciated in hindsight. When we’re in the midst of living, it can be easy to take that gift for granted. We can forget that life is a series of moments and that each one counts. If you spend a moment distracted, it’s wasted. So, value each moment. Slow down to pause and be present. Take in life with all of your senses. When you’re with a loved one, soak in his or her essence – the sound of his voice, the smell of her hair, the feel of his touch, the way the light hits her face. Savor the intimate space you share. Since you don’t know how many tomorrows you will have, make today special by being aware. Keep your eyes wide open for the treasures right in front of you. Live in the now so that each moment can be a memory you cherish.

Until next time, remember – it’s your divine life, live it to the fullest. The power is in your hands!
