As Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. said, “Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.”

What are you putting up with? Perhaps a “friend” makes comments that eat at your self-esteem. Maybe you’ve witnessed an injustice. Abuse, discrimination, bullying, exploitation – none of that is acceptable. No one has the right to violate another person’s basic human rights and dignity. Whether it’s happening to you or someone else, now is the time to speak up. Don’t sit passively by and watch a wrong be done. Stand up for what you believe in. Push back if someone is crossing the line, even if it is uncomfortable. If you continually look the other way, those small compromises will eventually chip away at your core values and erode your character. Be true to yourself. If you see something, say something.

Until next time, remember – it’s your divine life, live it to the fullest. The power is in your hands!

With Purpose & Power,

Terri
