As writer and theologian Frederick Faber said: “There are souls in this world which have the gift of finding joy everywhere and of leaving it behind them when they go.”
Have you found your joy today? That’s the question to ask every day. Sometimes we make joy conditional such as, “If I’m able to take a few days off, then I’ll have fun” or “When I finish this project, then I’ll celebrate life.” Joy should not be an if-then statement. It should be a constant. This week, find joy everywhere. Make it your mission to seek out the beauty around you – a child’s smile, a dog’s tail wagging, a sunset. Even if you live in a city, you can look up at the sky. As you capture these moments, share a smile and see how that transforms those around you.
Until next time, remember – it’s your divine life, live it to the fullest. The power is in your hands!
