As the saying goes, “Strive to be first: first to nod, first to smile, first to compliment, first to forgive.”
Have you ever competed to be first in something? Perhaps it was a sporting event or performance recognition at work. You probably worked very hard and gave it your all. This week, use that same type of determined energy and strive to be first in another way. If you have a disagreement with a colleague or loved one, be first to apologize. When you are with a group of people you don’t know, be first to say hello. If you see someone a little down, be first to extend a word of kindness. Be a leader in your own life by being an example of compassion.
Until next time, remember – it’s your divine life, live it to the fullest. The power is in your hands!
